At Quiet Heart, we facilitate the connections between people and place, developing our ties to the past, the present, and the future. Through building awareness and practicing traditional skills and knowledge, we empower our students to be lifelong stewards of the land. We work to build a community of individuals with confidence, empathy, and resilience, who respect themselves, others, and the natural world.
Educational Philosophy
Our instructors present hands-on experiences and ideas for students to expand their knowledge of the natural world, while also creating space to explore individual interests. Every student brings their own story and strengths to our program, and we value each individual’s learning journey. Through inquiry and exploration, we challenge our students to think critically, access their inner wisdom, and build empathy and respect for our world. We encourage our students to embrace their edges, and create a positive environment for them to challenge themselves and grow.
