Guest Instructor

Theo (he/him) grew up enjoying the oak woodland in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He has backpacked, hiked, climbed, and cross country skied extensively in both California and Washington. He especially loves plants, particularly those growing at alpine elevations and in glacier-side moraines. Pursuing his love of all things natural, Theo moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington where he received his degree in Biology and Environmental Science. There he worked with multiple on campus organizations devoted to sustainability and has helped teach a class on Pacific Northwest Ecosystems. He hopes to someday take his education into a career devoted to exposing as many people as possible to the wonders of the outdoors.
