Emma Picard

Emma (she/her) has been a Washington State resident since 2005. She grew up running around barefoot, practicing native plant identification, and falling in love with the natural world. She began her wilderness education with Quiet Heart when she was 8, and continued until she graduated high school. Emma is a recent graduate from The Evergreen State College, finishing a BA with a focus on visual fine arts and additional studies in anthropology and education. She is passionate about fostering a love for nature in others.
