Bryan (he/him) is originally from Long Island New York and grew up in Phoenix Arizona. After high school, Bryan moved to Northern Arizona and became a certified EMT. Bryan‘s love of the outdoors and the Pacific Northwest brought him to Bend, Oregon, where he was able to enjoy all the outdoor activities that central Oregon has to offer. Bryan eventually moved to Port Townsend and studied Boatbuilding at the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding. He later got a job crewing on a 125 foot wooden schooner on the East Coast and in the Caribbean. After a few years on the East Coast, Bryan was drawn back to the Pacific Northwest where he would go on to study at The Wilderness Awareness School taking classes such as the Tracking Intensive, Plant Intensive, and the Anake Immersion program. Bryan is a certified wildlife tracker and a Master Native Plant Steward with the Washington Native Plant Society.
