My Grandmother used to say, “a dull knife is more likely to cut you than a sharp knife”. Whether you have bushcraft knives or kitchen knives it is important to have a keen edge for the tasks at hand. This workshop will give you the opportunity to learn how to sharpen your knives and keep them sharp from a former professional chef and current wilderness skills instructor that has used and maintained knives for over 30 years. We will focus on learning edge angles and understanding the cutting geometry of different grind types. Feel free to bring any knives and sharpening equipment that you have questions about.
