Lynnea ( “L”) (she/her) is focused on providing opportunities for all people to access and enjoy nature. She recognizes the immense privilege that living in the Pacific Northwest offers in terms of proximity to mountains, water and public lands. Her study of kinesiology included an emphasis in camp recreation, along with a masters degree in sport and exercise leadership. L seized as many travel opportunities as her studies permitted, spending time traveling through Austria, Belgium, Costa Rica, England, France, Germany, and Switzerland, along with ongoing trips to both Canada and Mexico. These travels always led her back “home” to her partner Daniel of 18 years. Together, they have 3 rapidly growing children- Nolan, Finley and Maya- who have all participated in Quiet Heart programs! Her commitment as the first program director for Quiet Heart is to: connect with families, support instructors in curriculum development and implementation, site-stewardship, community engagement and leadership development.  L can be spotted in Edmonds and the greater Seattle area exploring the hiking trails and coffee shops of the PNW, doing handstands in the park, or being walked by her aussiedoodle, Merlin.
