There’s no better place than our own forest to explore the wonders of science! Come join us and investigate the natural phenomena happening all around us. Throughout our different projects, students will ask questions and work together to investigate possible answers. We will play games and perform experiments, all while learning the basics of field study!

In this unique program, student-led inquiries will be guided by the practices, cross-cutting concepts, and core ideas of the Next Generation Science Standards. By blending grade-level science learning with naturalist field studies, we will demonstrate the importance of place-based, experiential education in learning scientific concepts. Student work will be documented for families and can be used to meet science content requirements for homeschooling families.  We will hold two different groups this fall, one on Monday afternoons and the other on Wednesdays.  Please register for only one of the days.
