Imagine slinking through the woods like a wiley bobcat, barely seen and hardly heard on your way to the shelter built from the very materials the forest provides. In Shelters and Stealth, students will learn from experienced instructors about how to move through the forest with stealth and ease, and how to build shelters that blend into the environment.

A typical day at  Shelters and Stealth includes several games, independent “Sit Spot” time to study and contemplate nature, projects, skill building work, and free time in the woods. Campers will learn a new skill every day including camouflage, shelter building, and stealth skills.

Because this camp is held the “snow day make-up” week for many local school districts, students can choose to register either for the full week or per day.
